Mangalagiri Maha Yagyam

The Mangalagiri Maha Yagnam is the 97th Maha Yagnam and the first KshEthra Maha Yagnam in the “108 Sri Swati Nakshathra Sri Maha Narasimha Maha Manthra Japa Homa Maha Yagyam” series conducted by Namswāmi. The five-day event took place from October 11 to 16, 1988.

The ceremonies officially commenced on Sri Vibhava Varusham, Purattasi Swathi (Wednesday, October 12, 1988). A significant feature of this Yagyam was the pratishtai (installation) of 1,008 Mrun (clay) kalasams, 108 brass kalasams, and 10 silver kalasams.
