First Sri Manthraraja Maha Yagyam
at Sri Vyasa Gufa – Mana (Badrinath)
The first of the 6 Sri Manthra Raja Maha Yagyams (AgnimukhEna Japams) at Badrinath started on the auspicious Sri Krishna Jayanthi, Aavani Rohini (13th September 2017) with moving to the location of the Japam at Sri Vyasa Gufa – Mana (Badrinath) at about 5 AM along with Sri Yagna Murthy, Sri Sudarsanar, Sri BadrinArAyana Perumal, Sri Salagramamurthy and Nam Swamy and carrying all materials for the Japam including 320 GOlams (balls) made from 32 herbs.
After setting up, Kalasa Japam including Pancha SUkthangal, Sri Nrusimha Manthrams and NakshathrEshti was performed. The Maha Yagyam with AgnimukhEna Japam was started immediately after this with the chanting of Yagna Manthram with Sri Manthra RAja Pada Stotram, Mattaplli Mangalashtakham and a couple of verses reflecting on the description of the 5 locations as ordained. After the Japam, Thirumanjanam was performed for all the EmberumAngal mentioned above and Nam Swamy using the water from the Kalasam.
Prokshanam for all those present was done using the Thirumanjana Theerttham.
